Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 22, 2026

1. Introduction

Actium Inc. ("Company," "we," "us") operates the Actium platform ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: Name, email address, and organization details provided during registration (managed via Clerk).
  • Website data: URLs, page content, metadata, and SEO metrics from websites you connect to the platform, including data synced from WordPress and Google Search Console.
  • Usage data: Task counts, agent run history, token consumption, and feature usage for billing and analytics.
  • Payment information: Billing details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Log data: IP addresses, browser type, and access timestamps collected automatically for security and debugging.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To run AI agents on your connected websites and generate SEO tasks
  • To send transactional communications (billing receipts, security alerts)
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Clerk for authentication and identity management
  • AI model providers for processing SEO analysis (content is sent without personally identifiable information where possible)
  • Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) under strict data processing agreements
  • Law enforcement when required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we retain data for 30 days to allow recovery, then permanently delete it. Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting regulations (typically 7 years). Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data in transit (TLS), encrypted data at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. API keys are stored as cryptographic hashes, never in plain text.

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format

  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@goactium.com.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management (via Clerk). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies, if used, are privacy-respecting and do not track users across sites.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our infrastructure providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such collection, we will promptly delete the data.
